On a construction site, safety, quality and respect for the surroundings are not separate headings. They are three symptoms of the same thing: control of delivery.

Prevention before instruction
The great majority of site accidents are not bad luck: they follow a badly prepared situation — a poorly thought-out access, an unshored excavation, a machine manoeuvring without a banksman. Our approach is therefore organisational first.
Every project has a prevention plan drawn up before start-up, identifying the risks specific to that site: traffic, work at height, excavations, working alongside other contractors, proximity of existing services or of the public.
On the ground this translates into simple, non-negotiable rules: personal protective equipment worn at all times, the site signed and barriered, excavations shored, plant and lifting gear inspected, and a safety briefing before any shift involving a particular risk.
